It’s a sad day. This might be my last post here. I’ve enjoyed blogging for the past few months. Counting back, it’s almost half a year since I started doing this. What started to be a trial turned out to be a part of my daily routine to check on my blog. 2800 number of readership is something to shout about after all. Guess this is a part of my life already. Thanks for those of you who had come here and read my noob posts and even commenting on them.

Even so, i’m moving on. I’ll miss this place terribly, i am a very sentimental person. This is will be my new home.

This is the picture of the dog who has already become an icon of the new Monash campus. He’s constantly being found lingering outside of the campus, just between the bridge and the back entrance. According to my friend Ken, he’s a happy dog. Seems he’s always wagging his tail. Considering all the love and attention he’s been getting, I can’t see why he shouldn’t be…

Listening back to the tunes of dc Talk just brings back memories. I used to love them alot back in high school days and I still do today. We used to jam their songs and sing them all day long. And the early days of my guitaring was very much influenced by them. Some of you might not even heard of dc Talk, coz they’re a Christian rock band, really cool rap rock dudes. Been listening to them all week and one song stood out, Colored People, a song about racism and human diversity.

And you’ll wonder when will we humans see beyond our skin colors and accept one another’s differences? A beautiful song like this will only be a song if it doesn’t speaks to your heart. Movies like American History X and Crash doesn’t do any justice to this matter either, although they’re good. As we approach our nation’s 50th anniversary, let’s ponder on this. We’re after all the same under the skin.

Yeah I know this might be old news, but just in case you’re still in the dark about this Malaysian university student in Taiwan who mocked the nation with his rendition of our national anthem ‘Negaraku’, here’s the clip.
